UGG!

I am sure you are all wondering how I went from posting almost every day to nothing...let me tell you...

I lost my battery charger for my camera and what's a post without a picture or two!

No worries, I will be back up and running soon. LOTS to post about!

ANOTHER Potty Post

I realize it's been a while (two weeks) since I posted about Hannah's potty progress.

She went from Sunday until this morning with ZERO accidents!

(she is still in a diaper/pull up at bed time, but has been waking up dry...so those will go soon enough)

Funny story...if poop grosses you out, stop reading here!

This morning, Hannah got up and went potty. She was running around in just her pajama shirt.

(Actually, she was galloping, because she doesn't run..she gallops. I will video soon!)

So, she was galloping around and around the couches and over sized chair in the living room. I was trying to pick up the toys before I got her dressed and I heard:

TOOT! "OH NO, MOMMY! I POOPIE! I POOPIE!" Followed by tons of tears!

Hannah had a little tootie poopie this morning...all over the living room floor. Being preggo, my sense of smell is seriously heightened and something about it being on the FLOOR made me almost throw up!

Luckily, Travis was still home. He rushed Hannah to the potty so she could finish her business. He also picked up the poopie. I did get the resolve and clean it myself.

During all the chaos, Emma was sitting on the arm of the chair saying, "Eww...I smell it." "That's nasty." "Hannah, don't poopie on the floor in MY room." "Your booty stinks Hannah."

(You know...all the loving things that sisters say to each other.)

So, we have had ONE accident since Sunday. Not to shabby if you ask me!

The Dinosaur Song

Emma taught Hannah a Dinosaur song the other day. Here is a video of them singing it.

(Listen closely and you can hear Hannah trying to keep up with her big sister!)

You belong in a zoo...

After Hannah's birthday party on Saturday, we loaded up and headed to Tulsa. It was such a nice day, we decided we needed to go to the zoo.

The girls had so much fun and we saw tons of animals!

(Although, I swear the Polar Bear was dead. Seriously, it was 75 degrees and the POLAR bear was laying in the sun...and it NEVER flinch or even breathed while we were looking at it.)

There were camel rides and after we hustled past those, that was all Emma could talk about. So, on our way back through, Travis and Ems stopped for a ride. Emma loved it!

Hannah's favorite part by far were the chimpanzees. There were two babies and she would laugh and laugh when they would get in their Mommy's laps. She had everyone around us laughing with (at) her.

It was a quick trip, but we had a blast. The weather was perfect and the girls were great the whole time...who could ask for more!?

Birthday Parties!

Friday night, we did Hannah's birthday with the four of us. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, "fench fies" and "apple saucey". After dinner, we had cake. Then, just to add to the suspense, I made the girls take a bath before we opened presents. Below is what they thought about that!

Hannah got tons of clothes and some outside toys. The biggest hit was the "cabana" for outside this summer. We had a blast, but it was off to bed after that in preparation for the BIG party on Saturday!

Saturday, we had her party at Cold Stone Creamery. It was a blast. The kids enjoyed cup cakes and so did the adults. Hannah got so many wonderful gifts from her friends and enjoyed seeing everyone. Not to mention she was wearing her FABULOUS outfit from Amanda.

(If you are in need of anything crafty, head over to Bibs and Cribs. Amanda is so talented and can do anything you can think of!)

I also got a baby fix by getting to see the only two sweet baby boys I know, Reece and Owen. Let me say, these two are ADORABLE! They will make fine boyfriends for Catherine some day!

All and all it was a great time. Thanks, everyone, for coming!

TONS OF PICS BELOW! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANNAH!

My little Banana Boat turned TWO today.

(Yes, I call her Banana Boat, or Han, or Baby Cakes, or Beebo. And, no, I do not know where I come up with this stuff...but its all true!)

I cannot believe two years ago today, I was coming out of surgery and holding my second sweet girl for the first time!

We have big plans for her party, because in the Williamson house, a birthday is BIG DEAL!

This morning, Travis went and picked up some donuts with "pinkles" (sprinkles) for Hannah (and of course Emma). She opened ONE present this morning. We all sang Happy Birthday to her over a donut and cup of chocolate milk...because hey, it's her birthday!

Tonight, it's Hannah's choice for dinner. She has requested "Fench Fies and Apple Saucey" (french fries and apple sauce). So, to go along with that VERY normal request, we are grilling out burgers. After dinner, it's cake and present time!

There will be TONS more pictures to come, but here are a few from this morning. She wore a tutu to school and has a super cute secret outfit for her party tomorrow at Cold Stone! So, stay tuned!

Hannah,
I cannot believe that you are two already. It seems like just yesterday I was lying in the hospital bed holding you while everyone else watched, because I was the ONLY one that could make you quit crying!
You have grown into such a big girl and we are so proud of you. You talk so well and are finally potty trained! Your favorite person in the whole world is Emma. Everything you do is to mimic her, but with a little added "Hannah" flare.
You are such a smart girl. You know most of your ABCs and can count to five. Your favorite game is "Ready, Set, Go", which you made up yourself. You love to play with your doll house and blocks and cannot go anywhere without your blankie.
You are so wild and crazy most of the time, but so much fun. Daddy Brooks swears you act just like Mommy, but I don't believe him. You are sweet and loving. You light up the room with those big dimples and those bright eyes.
We love you so much, Hannah, and can't wait to see what this next year holds for you!
Happy Birthday, My Baby Cakes!
Love, Mommy

YOU WANT ME TO DO WHAT!?

Monday, we got a notice from Emma's pre-school that Kindergarten registration started yesterday.

I looked at that paper and for a split second thought "Oops, they put this is the wrong folder. My baby is too little for kindergarten..." Then, it hit me. She's not too little. In fact, she will be 5 next month and ready to go.

(Really!? I can't handle this!)

I was standing in the kitchen holding the paper and looked up at Travis. With tears in my eyes (maybe it's a little of the hormones...MAYBE), I told him that it was time. Emma heard me and came running into the kitchen. She said "I get to go to kindergarten tomorrow!?" I said "NO WAY!" She looked at me like I was crazy (which, I possibly am). Travis told her it was just registration and that Mommy was being a big baby about it.

(very understanding isn't he!)

So, I have to call the school today to make sure I have everything together. But, I think we are going to wait to go until next week. I just don't think I can handle Hannah turning two tomorrow and registering Emma for kindergarten all in one day.

(Oh the stress of it all!)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a brighter note, Hannah is what I would like to consider "potty trained"! YOU GUESSED IT!? We made our goal!

Tuesday, she wore panties to school. She had one...YES ONE...accident all day long! I was so proud when I picked her up, she even got a surprise (which you will see in her birthday party pictures).

Wednesday, she again, wore panties. She had only two accidents that day. Yes, that's two accidents in one day, but one of them was on her way to potty, so that's excusable.

She will be in panties exclusively going forward, except for bed time. She is still pretty wet when she wakes up in the morning. She wears pull-ups at night. We will start working on that soon.

(if anyone has any suggestions on how I do that, let me know!)

We have been so proud of her. Potty training is a long hard process, but man...to get rid of diapers...it's totally worth it!
