Oh Emma!

So, I have friends who post "funnies" that their kids do or say. I decided that Emma had a blog worthy funny this week. So, here it goes.

Monday night, Emma was talking to Honey (my mom) on the phone. The conversation went like this:

Emma: HI HONEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Honey: Hi Emma. Nothing...what are you doing?
Emma:(laughing) I just tooted on my Mommy. Are you going to spank me?
Honey: NO WAY! I am going to love on you. Why did you toot on your Mommy?
Emma: Because...
Honey: You are just like Daddy Brooks with all that tooting
(Daddy Brooks laughing in the background)
Emma: I am going to toot on him for laughing at me!

Later in the conversation:

Honey: It's your Mommy's birthday tomorrow.
Emma: I KNOW! Can I come?
(She thinks if it's your birthday it means a party! SPOILED LITTLE GIRL!)

It was snowing so Travis and the girls were staying home. I had to run into the office for a few hours. As I was ready to go:

Mommy: Bye Emma. I love you
Emma: Where are you going?
Mommy: To work for a little bit.
Emma: YOU CAN'T! You have to stay here!
Mommy: No, Emma, I have to go to the office. I will be back soon.
Emma: (In her bossy voice...) Okay, but you are going to miss your birthday!
Mommy: (laughing) No I wont...it will be okay
Emma: (sighs) well...you might...but whatever!

Oh the things she says...I am sure you are all going (her mother's child!). I will try to post these "funnies" more often. Enjoy!

Snow and Birthdays

OK, so in case you haven't noticed my posting have been few and far between lately. That is because my camera has not been the most cooperative and it finally bit the dust.
Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who got me a new FABULOUS camera for my birthday. Yep...I said birthday...I am officially old...25! Holy cow!
Anyways, luckily, I had this wonderful new camera yesterday because we had a SNOW DAY! Emma and Travis had a ball playing outside. Hannah wasn't super impressed, so we just watched from the warmth of the living room.

Last night, Hannah decided to sneak off and we found...well...just look at the pictures! She is a mess! Emma thought it was all too funny and before I could get it all cleaned up they had both eaten about 20 animal crackers and ruined their dinner! I did manage to get them to eat a little and as you can see, Hannah was a mess! What a night!!!

Weekend with the "Little Boys"

This weekend, Sue and David VanBebber went to Hot Springs for a weekend at the races with my parents and some of their other friends. Sue asked us to keep Thomas and Luke. My whole life, we have called Thomas and Luke the "Little Boys". This isn't quite the case anymore as Thomas is 19 and Luke is 13. However, we will always affectionately call them..."The Little Boys".

So, we stayed with them this weekend and had so much fun. Travis enjoyed having company doing all the "boy" things he doesn't get to do. Travis took them fishing, played basketball, rode the Kabota, and lots of other fun outside things. We all played Guitar Hero and Luke rocked us out! I only took a few pictures, but I am sure that Thomas and Luke whipped Travis in basketball! Thomas was so helpful playing with the girls so I could cook dinner and get everything cleaned up. Luke did a great job entertaining Travis!
We had so much fun with the "Little Boys". Thank you so much, Sue, for letting us keep them. They are wonderful!

A Snowy Week

Last Thursday and Friday it snowed so much, well...a couple of inches at least. I got to work from home and play with the girls. It was great to spend time with them and play in the snow. Emma LOVED the snow and was excited to get to wear her cute snow gear! Hannah put her hand in it and hated it. I am sure that will change soon.

After being cooped up in the house for a couple of days, it was really nice and warm on Saturday. So, we decided to have a girls day out. We went to Walmart to get a Barbie, to Pinnacle and for a stroll around the neighborhood. It was good to get out and about after the cold snow melted. The girls and I had a great day together. Poor Travis...he had to work and missed all the fun! :(

Sunday, Hannah turned 10 months. I can hardly believe time has passed so quickly! She is getting so big and changing so much every day. She had a little ear infection about 3 weeks ago. She weighed 20 lbs at that visit. There is no telling how big she is now! She is pulling up on everything even the walls! She is bear crawling all over the house, but her feet go faster than her hands sometimes and she face plants. But, she is tough! She is talking all the time. She is saying mama, dada, uh oh, ni ni, bye bye, hi and lots of other sounds that Travis swears are real words. Hannah loves to clap and make the "Indian" sound with her mouth. Also, when she gets in "trouble" for playing with things she is not supposed to, she makes this sound "Ooooo". You know...like you did in Elementary when someone got called to the office or something. It's hilarious! She eats anything we give her, but LOVES Veg-All. That's right...the stinky nasty canned veggies are her favorite. Her favorite person is by far her sister! She adores Emma!

Thomas's Homecoming

A few weeks ago, we went to the Har-Ber Homecoming Pep Rally. No, not because we wanted to "relive the glory days", but because we got to watch Thomas VanBebber walk a homecoming maid in the ceremony. He is a Senior this year and is excited to graduate. Not to mention, he looked SUPER handsome. Above are a few pictures of Thomas, I am not sure why my camera was acting up, but they are a little dark. We also go to see Sarah, Shaun and the whole VanBebber clan. Thank you, Thomas, for letting us be a part of this exciting day with you. We are so proud of you! We also go to see Sarah Fries, who teaches at Har-Ber High and is one of Thomas's teachers.

Just Hanging Out

It has been a LOOONNNGGG time since I posted anything. We have been busy, and there just hasn't been too much going on. We are all doing well and the girls are getting bigger and more sassy every day! Emma is starting Pre-K early. We are so proud of her. She is getting SO smart. She is excited to "live in the Pre-K class". I am proud, but have a little part of me that is so sad. She was my baby and it all grown up. To top it all off, Hannah has moved up a class too! I just can't handle anymore change! :) They are both doing well. Travis and I are doing great too.

This year, we spent Christmas at our house with just the 4 of us. It was so much fun spending the time together and doing all the fun things on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that we used to do with our parents. We even started some traditions of our own. Emma and I baked cookies for Santa and decorated them. She got a special plate from Honey that has a spot to leave a note for Santa right on the cookie plate! Thanks, Honey. Then, all of us went to a movie together. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. Finally, we made it home to open presents. Emma had fun and Hannah wasn't quite sure what to think about all of it. Then, we read the Polar Express, I Love You Forever, and the First Christmas. We did lots of talking to Emma on the real meaning of Christmas. It was off to bed after that! The next morning, Santa left LOTS of presents for the girls and they had a blast opening them and playing all day. We had a wonderful time together and can't wait to continue our "Williamson Family Traditions" next year.

9 Months

On December 21st, Hannah had her 9 month check up. I was busy with work trying to get all the stores instock for the holidays, so Travis took her to see Dr. Lovell. She did great is and progressing well. However, Travis was upset, because she had to get her follow-up flu shot!
:( No fun!

Hannah is 9 months old, weighs 18lbs 10 ozs, and is 29 3/4 inches longs. She is taller than 50% of 14 month old girls! She is pulling up and trying to walk around things. She is still not crawling and Dr. Lovell said she may skip that altogether. Hannah is talking alot and starting to make more words. She is saying Bye Bye, Hi, Ni Ni (night night), Ma ma, Daddy (no more da da), Ba ba (for bottle) and working on Go, but it comes out more like Doe! Hannah can cover her face and play peek a boo. She LOVES to chase Emma around the couch and play their version of Hide 'n Seek. She is eating 8 ozs every 4 hours, baby food at every meal. We are working on table food, but since she has had so many stomach problems, I am super cautious! She is still sleeping well. Overall, Dr. Lovell said her cognative skills are very advanced and her motor skills are right on track.

Dress Up and Pajama Day

The pretty princess
Hannah...the rapper!?
Pajama Day!!!

The week before Christmas, Emma's preschool had lots of fun activities. We were very busy that week as well. One night at home, Emma played dress up. While I was helping her get dressed, Travis decided that he and Hannah would get in on the fun as well. That next day was pajama day. All the kids dressed in their PJs and brought their sleeping bags. They played slumber party games, watched movies and had their Christmas party. Emma had so much fun! I thought I would share a few pictures from those two days with everyone. ENJOY!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Come on, girls. Pay attention!

We have been so busy this year that I have not had a chance to send out Christmas cards. And, since it is just 6 days before Christmas, I think we are going to just skip it this year. But, I do want to share these pictures of the girls in front of the tree. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and safe travels!
