We hadn't had a girls night dinner in quite a while, so Tuesday, we decided to go eat at Copeland's to celebrate Fat Tuesday. Thankfully, Tara got there early, because there was an hour wait at 5pm, which was only the start of our waiting for the night.
When we were finally seated, we ordered our drinks and waited for about 20 minutes for the waitress to come back with only half of them. Kim ordered her drink three times and as far as I know never got what she ordered. Dinner went much the same way. Rachel got her dinner about 30 minutes after everyone else and I never got mine. It was nuts. They did get the cheesecake right and in a timely manner. But, it took us 45 minutes to get our tickets and pay. INSANE people! But, we had so many laughs that it made the night fun.

Hey, Boni! I'm a new follower (found you through Tara and Rachel's blogs that I have been following forever...not sure how I found them though I followed Tara first... :) Anyway, that stinks about Copeland's being so crazy! My husband and I considered going, but I'm glad we didn't because the earliest we could have gotten there would have been six! (He ended up having to do a work dinner anyway...) Glad you had a good Mardi Gras through it all! Enjoy reading about your family--your daughters are just precious, and I LOVE all their names!!
It looks like ya'll had fun regardless of all the mishaps that happened. Friends are GREAT to have and you have a GREAT circle of friencs. Cherish every moment.
