A Lazy Weekend

This weekend was the epitome of a lazy weekend around here. We had no plans and didn't make any last minute. While I LOVE being busy and having fun plans every weekend, it's always nice to throw a lazy weekend in now and again.

Friday night, we went to dinner, came home and just hung out. We all ended up on one couch watching a movie with the girls.

(They were all watching. I was playing "7 Little Words" on my iPad. And, seriously...the most addicting game ever! I could play for hours...download it...now!)

Saturday, Travis went to work for a couple of hours. The girls and I cleaned up and played. When Travis got home, we played outside. Hannah did tricks on the trampoline. Catherine tried to be a big girl like her sisters. Emma ran from Gus. Travis taught Gus some tricks. Then...it rained. :(

 

Since it started raining, we jumped in the car and went to a movie. We had popcorn and candy for a "pre-dinner" snack. Then, of course, we watched football, had a sword fight and took silly pictures.

Finally, it was bedtime. After we got the girls all tucked in, Travis and I enjoyed some quiet time on the couch. (This is a no make-up picture...yikes!)

Sunday, we got up and got ready early for church. Then, we went out to breakfast together. After church, we had lunch with the Brown's.

Travis wanted to go site in his guns and insisted that we go with him. Hannah and Emma shot one of his small guns. Catherine and I sat in the car. She spent most of her time with her fingers in her ears. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was great.

 

 

See...nothing super exciting this weekend, but it was just what we needed! HAPPY MONDAY!
