Viva Las Vegas...

Last Thursday, I left for a long weekend trip with a group of girls to Vegas. We all had tank tops from "The Mustache" in Fayetteville, so decided to wear them on the plane. We looked like a group going on the Price is Right (which I was not opposed to!) and people kept asking us where we got our shirts. It was hilarious!

As soon as we check into the hotel, we decided to do some shopping around Caesar's. (window shopping in my case!). After we finished there, we came back to get dressed up for dinner at Tao. It was AMAZING food and we had so much fun at dinner.

After Tao, we went to a club called Trist. It was at this point that Rachel and I realized we were MUCH to old for this party scene. So, we hung out for a little while and then headed back to to the room while the younger other girls stayed to dance.

Friday morning, I woke up at 6:30 because of a text from Travis the time change. I couldn't go back to sleep, but wasn't feeling up to par that morning due to lack of sleep. About 30 minutes later, Tara, Kristen and Rachel all woke up. We decided since we were awake (unfortunately), we should go get some good breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi. Let me say, other than not having Dr. Pepper, it was amazing! We ate outside in front of the Belagio.

After breakfast, we went back to the hotel to wake the other girls up and change into our swimsuits. This was by far the best day we had in Vegas. We got a cabana by the pool and spent all day laying out, eating and drinking. Talk about relaxing!

Friday night, we went to a Gordy Brown show (he is hilarious by the way) and dinner at a Mexican place called Yolos. After dinner, Rachel and I went back to the hotel. The other girls went to dance the night away at Pure. I woke up to a text from Nicole that said "Tara is dancing with a midget". Must have been a fun night! ;)

Saturday, we slept a LITTLE later and went to lunch at Serendipity. It was good, but man it was H-O-T outside where we sat. After lunch, we shopped at Fashion Show Mall. It was a much bigger (and in my price range) mall. I think Rachel and I shopped for about 4-5 hours.

Then, it was time to get ready for our last night in Vegas. We ate at an AMAZING Italian place (I can't remember the name). The whole time we were in Vegas, people asked us "Who's getting married? Who is the bachelorette?"

That night, a lady stopped at our table and asked us who was getting married. Rachel immediately said "ME! For the second time!" I lost it....the look on that lady's face was priceless as she nodded and said "ooooohhhhh....well, congratulations." HILARIOUS! Our waiter over heard that conversation and brought us desert! Rachel had TWO candles in her tiramisu...one for each marriage! (We ended up telling him that it was all a joke. He just laughed and said "I just go off what I pick up on!")

After dinner, we went to the Belagio to watch the fountains. It was so beautiful! Such a great ending to a fun trip!
