Oh Yes She DID!!!

I have a few funnies/HURRAYS about my girls....

Hannah

Yesterday, she was walking around with her hands in her pockets. The convo went like this:

Me: Hannah, what are you doing?
Hannah: I me know (I don't know).
Me: Do you have a Wocket in your pocket?
Hannah: giggles. NO!
Me: What's in your pocket?
Hannah: HUFF! My hands, Mommy!

She just walked off...HANDS IN POCKETS...

Emma

I was getting Catherine dressed and ready for the day. Emma was looking at her. The convo went like this:

Emma: Catherine has little boobies.
Me: Yes, well, she's a little girl
Emma: Yeah...they aren't big like yours.
Me: laughing. Nope.
Emma: When will my boobies be big like yours? I just think I really want to wear a bra.

Catherine

Obviously, there was no conversation. Yes, she is getting two teeth, but I think she will hold out on talking for a month or two! HA!

But, she did sleep 8 hours last night! YES! 8 WHOLE HOURS! I was shocked...and when she woke up to eat at 4.30, I was ready for the day!!! :) YAY, CATHERINE GRACE! KEEP IT UP!

Two explosions and Ice Cream Sandwiches

Oh today....today being a Mommy of three was fun...funny...messy...and CHALLENGING!

(If you have a light stomach, stop reading now)

I had a day like Angela had in the past...POOP EVERYWHERE!

I was on a roll this morning. I finished the laundry, cleaned the kitchen, played Pet Shop with the big girls and loved up on the little girl. This was all before noon! I felt like super mom (I mean...I had even showered!).

All the girls were down for a nap. I was dozing on and off on the couch. Suddenly, Emma came in to the living room and said "Mommy, Hannah has poop all over her hands!" WHAT!? THIS CHILD HAS BEEN POTTY TRAINED SINCE APRIL! SERIOUSLY!?

I went into her room and found her laying in her bed ON TOP OF THE COMFORTER with poop everywhere. I picked her up and carried her at arms length from me to the bathroom. You cannot imagine how much poop there was! It was all over her booty, her legs, her hands...IT WAS EVERYWHERE!

I stood looking at her in the bathroom for a little bit and wondered where to even start. Finally, I started tackling the mess. About the time I got knee deep in the mess, Catherine started crying. I sent Emma into her room to reach into the crib and try to console her. It wasn't working.

About 5 minutes later, I had Hannah cleaned up and sent her to get some clean panties on. I threw hers in the trash, washed my hands and went to get Catherine. It was time to eat. So, I got settled in our spot and started feeding her. Suddenly...you guessed it...Catherine had a HUGE blow out. Again...POOP WAS EVERYWHERE!

I had to stop feeding her and again...clean up the the poop. It was good times. I guess the girls figured that since the laundry was all done they would give me something else to do today.

Oh...what an afternoon. I did get my house de-pooped. The only thing left is taking Hannah's comforter to the dry cleaners. I will tackle that tomorrow...I have had enough poop for one day thank.you.very.much!

On a lighter note, the big girls and I made homemade ice cream sandwiches this afternoon. We baked cookies, smooshed them together with ice cream and rolled the edges in sprinkles. They were special for Travis. He has been getting up quite a bit at night...just to check on Catherine and I while she is feeding and still getting up super early to go to work in Fort Smith. What a great guy!

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

This is what we have been doing this afternoon...

**No pictures of Emma because she is on strike against a nap these days...

Uh oh!

I totally forgot to post Catherine's one-week post. OOPS! (Man...it's true what they say about that third child huh!?)

Catherine Grace turned 1 week old yesterday. She is a VERY good baby. She eats three ounces every 4 hours. At night, she goes to sleep around 8 and usually doesn't wake up until 1 for her first bottle. It's every 4 hours after that, but I am not complaining.

She really REALLY loves to be held, probably because between the girls, Travis and I, some one is ALWAYS holding her!

Enjoy the pics!

They're BAAAACK!

Emma and Hannah made it back yesterday. Sue was SO sweet to meet my mom in Russellville to pick them up and bring them back up here for me. THANKS, AUNT SUE!

All I have heard about is the fun time they had in Hot Springs. Honey and Daddy Brooks took them to a movie on Tuesday evening and then they swam until dark.

Wednesday, they went to Magic Springs. They had a blast, but I heard they got rained out before they got to finish the day.

That night, the girls had a fun dinner with GrandDa and Daddy Ben at Red Lobster.

Thursday, they headed to the Mid-America Museum. Again, I heard how much fun they had exploring all the exhibits. Then, they ate lunch at Chic-Fil-A...and of course hit up the play place.

Friday, it was time to come home and I hate to say they were a little disappointed! But, we will be back soon and I am sure Honey and Daddy Brooks need to use the weekend to rest up from chasing my monkeys around!

Since they have been home...we have done a lot of this:

I love my baby legs!

Catherine has become one of the most laid back (sleepy) babies EVER! She is so happy when she's awake..

(I mean...I guess she is. It's not like she tells me, but if a baby isn't screaming, I would say they are happy.)

She LOVES her daddy! I love Baby Legs! These are quite possibly the best invention ever. Catherine's are a little big, but they keep her from fussing during diaper changes and are so darn cute!

Enjoy the pics of my little babe! BTW, the big girls will be home tomorrow! YAY! Lots of pics to come this weekend of all three girls!

Family Update

I just wanted to give an update on how things are going around the Williamson household these days.

We came home on Saturday and things were ok that night. Sunday night...DISASTROUS! Catherine was starving and wouldn't sleep at all. I had a break down. Travis was pacing. It was no fun.

But, we have the kinks worked out and everything is falling into place. My mom has been here since Catherine arrived and she has cooked and cleaned for us. She has also taken the big girls to do fun things to get them out of the house. So, Monday, she came over and let me catch a two hour nap. I have never felt more revived as I did after that. I was ready to tackle cranky Catherine again!

Monday afternoon, Catherine had a follow up appointment. When we left the hospital, she had a heart murmur and was a little jaundice. Dr. Lovell assured us that all that was cleared up and she looked "perfect".

He also mentioned that she is getting two teeth. Yep...you read that right...TWO teeth. (Heaven forbid she be out done by Emma's one tooth). One in every twenty thousand births have a tooth or get one within the first month. Two out of three of my children have accomplished this...so we are totally beating the odds around here!

Tuesday, my mom came and picked up Emma and Hannah to go spend the rest of the week at her house. She was off for the week and so was Daddy Brooks. They took the girls to the movies Tuesday evening and then back to the house for swim time!

I talked to the girls this morning and they are headed to Magic Springs today. I asked them if I could go and they told me NO! I miss them like crazy, but know they are having SO MUCH FUN!

Catherine and I are working on getting her on her schedule so I can function when the girls get home on Friday. It's going well. I even got a shower today before Travis got home. Cassidie and Lauren brought me lunch and hung out. I miss seeing them at work every day!

So, all in all, things are going great around here. Travis has been working short days. As soon as he gets home, he makes a bee-line for the shower. As soon as he gets out, he grabs up little Catherine and only gives her back to me for bath time!

We can't wait for the girls to get home so we can have some more family time. But, I am so grateful for all of the help my mom has given us. We needed a couple of days to get things with Catherine under control.

Nothing super exciting, but that's what's going on around here. (I am too lazy holding my sweetie to get up and find my camera cord. I will post pictures soon!)

Catherine Grace has made her debut!

Catherine Grace was born yesterday morning at 7:58 am. She weighed 7'9 and was 20 inches long (smallest in of the three girls).

She is so perfect and so sweet. However, last night, we determined that she has got quite the little temper on her!

Emma and Hannah are so proud and keep asking "When can I take MY baby home?". Travis is over the moon and so protective over her. You would think by the third one he would be a little chill..

I cannot get my pictures to upload from the hospital wifi. I will post more later (and yes, I am doing GREAT! I have already showered, put my jewelry on and MAKE UP!).

**Molly, I will send you one via email! :)

One Last Project...

Talk about down to the wire!

Travis and I have been working on my bathroom project since about October (yeah...you heard me right). The conversation to start it went like this:

Me: Trav, let's tear all that ugly tile off the bathroom wall, texture and paint it.

Travis: That's a big job, Boni and I really think that's not a good idea. I am too busy to work on that for you

Me: WHAT!? Like I need you to do it for me. Just take the tile off and I will do EVERYTHING else...I can handle it.

Travis: I really think that's a big job, Boni.

Me: Please...I hate this bathroom. It will be so easy and I will do it myself...PROMISE!

Travis: Fine.

So, it began. He tore the tile off...I textured (one wall) and he did the rest! Needless to say, he will not let ME convince him that I can do anything construction-y myself!

Here are the before pictures: Try to contain your laughter!

AFTER! YAY YAY YAY!

So, the day before our new sweet baby arrived, we finished up our (read: MY) little project.

If you are wondering who made that BEAUTIFUL arrangement on the counter, just ask Cassidie! Thanks, Cass! You're the best!
