Birthday Parties!

Friday night, we did Hannah's birthday with the four of us. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, "fench fies" and "apple saucey". After dinner, we had cake. Then, just to add to the suspense, I made the girls take a bath before we opened presents. Below is what they thought about that!

Hannah got tons of clothes and some outside toys. The biggest hit was the "cabana" for outside this summer. We had a blast, but it was off to bed after that in preparation for the BIG party on Saturday!

Saturday, we had her party at Cold Stone Creamery. It was a blast. The kids enjoyed cup cakes and so did the adults. Hannah got so many wonderful gifts from her friends and enjoyed seeing everyone. Not to mention she was wearing her FABULOUS outfit from Amanda.

(If you are in need of anything crafty, head over to Bibs and Cribs. Amanda is so talented and can do anything you can think of!)

I also got a baby fix by getting to see the only two sweet baby boys I know, Reece and Owen. Let me say, these two are ADORABLE! They will make fine boyfriends for Catherine some day!

All and all it was a great time. Thanks, everyone, for coming!

TONS OF PICS BELOW! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANNAH!

My little Banana Boat turned TWO today.

(Yes, I call her Banana Boat, or Han, or Baby Cakes, or Beebo. And, no, I do not know where I come up with this stuff...but its all true!)

I cannot believe two years ago today, I was coming out of surgery and holding my second sweet girl for the first time!

We have big plans for her party, because in the Williamson house, a birthday is BIG DEAL!

This morning, Travis went and picked up some donuts with "pinkles" (sprinkles) for Hannah (and of course Emma). She opened ONE present this morning. We all sang Happy Birthday to her over a donut and cup of chocolate milk...because hey, it's her birthday!

Tonight, it's Hannah's choice for dinner. She has requested "Fench Fies and Apple Saucey" (french fries and apple sauce). So, to go along with that VERY normal request, we are grilling out burgers. After dinner, it's cake and present time!

There will be TONS more pictures to come, but here are a few from this morning. She wore a tutu to school and has a super cute secret outfit for her party tomorrow at Cold Stone! So, stay tuned!

Hannah,
I cannot believe that you are two already. It seems like just yesterday I was lying in the hospital bed holding you while everyone else watched, because I was the ONLY one that could make you quit crying!
You have grown into such a big girl and we are so proud of you. You talk so well and are finally potty trained! Your favorite person in the whole world is Emma. Everything you do is to mimic her, but with a little added "Hannah" flare.
You are such a smart girl. You know most of your ABCs and can count to five. Your favorite game is "Ready, Set, Go", which you made up yourself. You love to play with your doll house and blocks and cannot go anywhere without your blankie.
You are so wild and crazy most of the time, but so much fun. Daddy Brooks swears you act just like Mommy, but I don't believe him. You are sweet and loving. You light up the room with those big dimples and those bright eyes.
We love you so much, Hannah, and can't wait to see what this next year holds for you!
Happy Birthday, My Baby Cakes!
Love, Mommy

YOU WANT ME TO DO WHAT!?

Monday, we got a notice from Emma's pre-school that Kindergarten registration started yesterday.

I looked at that paper and for a split second thought "Oops, they put this is the wrong folder. My baby is too little for kindergarten..." Then, it hit me. She's not too little. In fact, she will be 5 next month and ready to go.

(Really!? I can't handle this!)

I was standing in the kitchen holding the paper and looked up at Travis. With tears in my eyes (maybe it's a little of the hormones...MAYBE), I told him that it was time. Emma heard me and came running into the kitchen. She said "I get to go to kindergarten tomorrow!?" I said "NO WAY!" She looked at me like I was crazy (which, I possibly am). Travis told her it was just registration and that Mommy was being a big baby about it.

(very understanding isn't he!)

So, I have to call the school today to make sure I have everything together. But, I think we are going to wait to go until next week. I just don't think I can handle Hannah turning two tomorrow and registering Emma for kindergarten all in one day.

(Oh the stress of it all!)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a brighter note, Hannah is what I would like to consider "potty trained"! YOU GUESSED IT!? We made our goal!

Tuesday, she wore panties to school. She had one...YES ONE...accident all day long! I was so proud when I picked her up, she even got a surprise (which you will see in her birthday party pictures).

Wednesday, she again, wore panties. She had only two accidents that day. Yes, that's two accidents in one day, but one of them was on her way to potty, so that's excusable.

She will be in panties exclusively going forward, except for bed time. She is still pretty wet when she wakes up in the morning. She wears pull-ups at night. We will start working on that soon.

(if anyone has any suggestions on how I do that, let me know!)

We have been so proud of her. Potty training is a long hard process, but man...to get rid of diapers...it's totally worth it!

Happy Anniversary (A little sappy...)

So, Travis and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Friday. It's so hard for me to believe it's been 5 years of marriage already.

(Yes...5 years...going on 3 kids...WILD RIGHT!?)

He sent me some GORGEOUS roses to work on Friday and we went to dinner at Crabby's Saturday night, sans the girls, which was a nice treat. Dinner was fabulous! We pulled an "old folks" and came home to watch a movie, but we had fun just the same.

**Travis, I love you so much. You are a wonderful husband and father. I couldn't ask for more from you. You put up with my shopping and silliness. You work hard every day for the girls and I. It's been a great ride seeing our dreams come more and more of a reality each day! It's amazing how we have grown closer as we grow UP together. Life is wonderful with you...everything I dreamed. Look out 50...here we come! XOXO

Pizza

Pre Pregnancy:

Pizza! Oh how I loved Pizza. We ate pizza in our house about once a week. Guido's was my favorite place and they knew us by name!

Pregnancy:

YUCK! I hate even thinking about eating it. Being around it makes me physically nauseous. Guido's probably thinks we died!
My family knows this. So, why do they ask for pizza EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY NIGHT!?

Potty Progress

WARNING: If talking about a child's bathroom habits grosses you out, this post is not for you!

If you recall this post, I said I would have Hannah potty trained by her birthday. Well, her birthday is next Friday.

Thing were cutting it a little tight to reach my goal, but I am stubborn and proud to announce:

TUESDAY: Hannah had only 3 wet diapers at school all day. She teeteed and poopied in the potty every other time!

WEDNESDAY: Hannah had one wet diaper! She went in the potty every single time that day, but didn't want to poopie in the potty.

I am so proud of my girl! Tomorrow, I am picking her up and we are going to pick out big girl panties to practice with this weekend!

I am sure many of you are wondering how...how did you make this happen with that stubborn STUBBORN child? My friends, this is top secret, but the way to get my child to do something is easy...

CANDY!

Yes, I give her candy when she does well. Have I created a monster, probably. But, at least my monster will be out of diapers!

So, last night, I was telling her how we were going to go together to pick out special big girl panties. The conversation went like this:

Mommy: HANNAH! I am so proud of you for using the potty. I will pick you up tomorrow and just you and I will go pick you out some special big girl panties. But, you can't potty in them or we will have to throw them away! You don't' want to throw them away do you?

Hannah: NOoooooo! I wub big gul panties!

Mommy: Good! And before you know it, you can wear just panties and give your diapers to Catherine, because you are a big girl and don't need them.

Hannah: Wiiiit (right)! And we get big gul panties and no fro (throw) dem away and get some mo' canies (candy)!

(Yes, she will probably be five and still asking for candy after she potties, but hey...it's better than five and in diapers...isnt it?)

Pretty Piggy Tails

FINALLY!

Hannah's hair/mullet is long enough to make some EXTREMELY cute pig tails. Lucky for me, she wants to do everything Emma does, so she wants her her up every single day. She even sits SO still for me to get them even.

(don't mind the yellow clip, I am still trying to train her very stubborn cowlick to stay down!)

Monsters Vs Aliens

Wednesday night, we got to go to a pre-screening for Monsters Vs Aliens. The company I work for makes the video game and this is one of the perks!
Before the movie, we met the Peschel Fam for quick dinner at the Promenade. Emma and Ashton played more than they ate and rode the carousel. Hannah did NOT want to ride it.

The movie is 3D and it has great effects. It's a very VERY cute movie and I recommend everyone watching it (then go to Walmart and buy the game!).

Pretty Curls

Emma has hair like me, STRAIGHT AS A BOARD! So, we jazz it up a little and use sponge rollers at night to ensure a wonderful bouncing curl in the morning.

Here are some pictures from last night of my sweet girl. Plus this morning!

(her curls never last the whole day, but she loves them anyway!)

It's a...

Today, Travis and I headed to the doctor for our ultrasound. We debated on taking the girls, but decided that we would just show them the DVD when we got home.

So, we watched our little bundle of joy kick around and act wild, which is expected of Williamson children! The baby is breech, but that doesn't really matter since I have a c-section scheduled.

We found out that we are having another SWEET LITTLE GIRL! Her name is going to be Catherine Grace. She is absolutely perfect. Her heart rate was 144 and she already weighs 12 ozs.

It was a shock at first and all I could think was THREE WEDDINGS, WOWEE! But, as soon as they turned the monitor on to hear her heart beat, I teared up and Travis broke into the biggest grin!

We are super excited. I am feeling great and will MAYBE post a baby bump pic soon.
