Two explosions and Ice Cream Sandwiches

Oh today....today being a Mommy of three was fun...funny...messy...and CHALLENGING!

(If you have a light stomach, stop reading now)

I had a day like Angela had in the past...POOP EVERYWHERE!

I was on a roll this morning. I finished the laundry, cleaned the kitchen, played Pet Shop with the big girls and loved up on the little girl. This was all before noon! I felt like super mom (I mean...I had even showered!).

All the girls were down for a nap. I was dozing on and off on the couch. Suddenly, Emma came in to the living room and said "Mommy, Hannah has poop all over her hands!" WHAT!? THIS CHILD HAS BEEN POTTY TRAINED SINCE APRIL! SERIOUSLY!?

I went into her room and found her laying in her bed ON TOP OF THE COMFORTER with poop everywhere. I picked her up and carried her at arms length from me to the bathroom. You cannot imagine how much poop there was! It was all over her booty, her legs, her hands...IT WAS EVERYWHERE!

I stood looking at her in the bathroom for a little bit and wondered where to even start. Finally, I started tackling the mess. About the time I got knee deep in the mess, Catherine started crying. I sent Emma into her room to reach into the crib and try to console her. It wasn't working.

About 5 minutes later, I had Hannah cleaned up and sent her to get some clean panties on. I threw hers in the trash, washed my hands and went to get Catherine. It was time to eat. So, I got settled in our spot and started feeding her. Suddenly...you guessed it...Catherine had a HUGE blow out. Again...POOP WAS EVERYWHERE!

I had to stop feeding her and again...clean up the the poop. It was good times. I guess the girls figured that since the laundry was all done they would give me something else to do today.

Oh...what an afternoon. I did get my house de-pooped. The only thing left is taking Hannah's comforter to the dry cleaners. I will tackle that tomorrow...I have had enough poop for one day thank.you.very.much!

On a lighter note, the big girls and I made homemade ice cream sandwiches this afternoon. We baked cookies, smooshed them together with ice cream and rolled the edges in sprinkles. They were special for Travis. He has been getting up quite a bit at night...just to check on Catherine and I while she is feeding and still getting up super early to go to work in Fort Smith. What a great guy!

I'm so sorry Boni...that stinks. (I'm sure it really did for you) ;) The ice cream sandwiches look yummy though.

Can I just say I'm impressed you had a shower in before noon and cleaned the house! My baby is 6 months old and it is still one or the other, never both in the same day :)! Besides the slight, I mean gianormous mess, It sounds like things are going good! I can't wait to come see her!
